Perfect fall ripens bountiful crop for Rattlesnake’s Ten Spoon Vineyard
When you uncork a bottle of 2010 Range Rider red from the Ten Spoon Vineyard someday, you can be thankful for the long, glorious autumn western Montana has been enjoying. Every other weather phenomenon over the last year conspired against it.
“Montana is already volatile, but the weather has been more and more unpredictable as climate change has accelerated,” Ten Spoon owner Andy Sponseller said on Friday morning as dozens of volunteers snipped away at a bountiful crop of red grapes in the Rattlesnake Valley vineyard.
